98GCLimited Posted May 29, 2013 Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 Save the deadener for other stuff (roof, doors, quarter panels,etc) and fill the hatch with expanding foam. It made my hatch super solid and reduced flex and rattling of the hatch greatly in my Grand Cherokee. Made the hatch into a solid chunk of foam filled steel lol. The added weight of the foam helps a lot. Just throwin that out there as an option for you. edit: Only took 3 cans. 1 can big gap filler and two regular cans of great stuff.
