Try running the heater while car warms up. Air becomes dense when cold thus creating a feeling of not as loud. Frequency waves become heavier and harder to move. interesting. cause im sure that people say they are louder in winter the in summer when competing. or more noticeable when in car on music. but our summers & winters are opposite... i believe colder temps lower ur peak, lower notes seem louder but what ur car usually peaks at may not seem as loud as what ur used to.
