Question about clamping an amplifier

My little brother was very nice and recently bought me a Hifonics Colossus LTD. My scope took a crap, now I'm looking for a cheap used one or someone that can let me use theirs. ( Anyone in Northern Cali wanna help out?) But when I do set the gains, I would like to clamp the amplifier to check the box rise and output.

I was thinking about it, and should this be done with windows up or down and doors/hatch open or shut? I figure with the windows up there would be more resistance on the subs. I don't how much there would be if any. Since I generally have some windows down I figured it would make sense to clamp it that way. Would it be such a little difference that I shouldn't worry about it?

Thanks,

David
