99BonneSLE
Alright everyone. I want to start off by saying I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers. So if this is in the wrong section, I apologize. I've been a part of many online forums and I'm aware how they work and I even ran a few. But I'm not too sure where to post certain things on here. So my apologies if I'm in the wrong. But anyway, back to the purpose of the thread. I'm looking for a box builder close to NY...preferably in Jersey or somewhere close. I need a box built for 2 SA-12 D4's. I don't know the first thing about box building, nor do I possess the skill or tools to perform such a task. I'm looking for someone close because my car isn't the newest car *200K on her*, and I don't want to go a long distance to get it done. The shops around here don't even know what Sundown is, and want to charge me over $400 for a regular box, and one shop said $1400 for fiberglass. This is why I need help from someone who knows what they're doing and someone that can work with me. So if anyone is close to Staten Island, or even on Staten Island, let me know. Thanks a lot. HHR Ed
I'm from Philly, Those prices dont seem unreasonable depending on the design and finish of the box you want. Well the $400 was for just a sealed box. Not finished or anything. I'm looking for a ported box with an aero port. I don't want it finished. I just want the wood. lol. And the fiberglass one was a tad unreasonable. The work they do isn't even that good. Quote 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SLE. 200K on the dash.
