FroznBeavrBALLs
when buying ANL fuses does it matter how many amps they can take as long as its more than your alt can put out or close to it. like if i have a 100A alt is it cool that i get 250A ANL fuses. And if i have one size fuse under the hood going back to a back batt does it need to be the same size as the one in the back or is it ok for them to be different sizes? 2 DC 12" lvl 4s 1 DC 1.2k XS Power S3400 big 3 Alll KNU wire Pioneer HU cheapo Legacy coaxes (just for now) http://www.stevemead...n-sentra-build/
deepsilencer
One thing I learned is that put the proper fusing,if you go bigger(twice the size).than why even fuse than? It's like not puting a fuse at all TEAM FLEX ISSUES,TEAM DC AUDIO 2000 Silverado Ext 1500 v.3 (Walled Silverado) 4 DC Power 270a Alts on A DC Power Quad Alt Bracket XS Power VCM,Stinger Volt Meters 4 AA Mayhem 18s 2 DC Audio 9.0ks Strapped 1 DC Audio 175.4 4 Selenium 6.5s & 4 Selenium 8s 4 Selenium Super Tweeter st350s 72 SQ Ft Of Stinger Roadkill Expert Alpine CDA 9887 XS Power d3400(Hood),6 XS Power d3100s(Bed) & much more..... 2011 Meca CA State Champion & State Record Holder In M5 Meca SPL:158.2 Meca P&P:137.4 DB Drag:159.1 USACI:161.2 BUILD LOG.....YOUTUBE CHANNEL.....FEEDBACK
AA98hoe
You fuse a rated amp draw of your amps. Not alternator amperage. If you have a 200 amp alternator and your max draw is 120a then you fuse and 120.
