RE_audio
New to the forum and this is my first post actually. I had a Nissan sentra with 2 re audio sx 12s on a us amps md3d, in a ported box 2 cubic feet per sub (not sure of the frequency it was tuned to) hit a 140.4 on the dash. I now have 2of the new re audio sxx 12s in a box I built 2.5 cubic feet per sub ported tuned to 33Hz with a planet audio bb3000 in my Yukon. I'm wired to 2 ohms at the amp. Sounds very loud, but been a while since I've heard the 140.4 in the Nissan. How should this compare in my Yukon?
Coolbeans
How is the box built as far as sub and port positioning, and does your yukon have a hatch, if so apparently subs up port back will get you the best results as far as db's go. other than that its just experimenting what works Edited October 12, 2011 by Coolbeans
RE_audio
Truck is a hatch. Subs face up, ports back. It's one large box split in the center making it look like one big box but it's really two small boxes. The ports are separated in the center facing the rear. As I said before the ports are tuned to 33Hz. Thanks for the reply!
