Head unit help

soo im 16 and i just bought a new sub,amp, and Memphis speakers and the head unit i have is the one that came with it a Stock DUAL one and i think its the problem cause even with all this, the speakers sound bad not enough treble and to much bass even when bass is all the way down.. and what are some good cheap ones i can get!

It's probably that stock head-unit, because my s10 had one and it sounded horrible with the tweets, yea, better to get a new one. Also you didn't explain it well, sorry if I screwed something up, lol.

did you check your gain on amp? you set your eq on the deck?

yeahh and no i didnt on the deck the decks not good and my gain is all the way because right now i got a 200 watt amp im gonna get a bigger one soon tho

turn the gain down. dont risk blowing brand new equipment up by doing something ignorant like that

as ive heard on these forums manytimes and by kranny i think also, gain is not a volume knob
