Mboone Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 hey guys, first post for me. I have a Kicker ZX1000 pushing 1 10" HCCA Orion for few years after old Solobaric went down. The ZX is about 6 yrs old and in Protection mode now; good grounds; power,etc Still up in air to wether to get fixed or not In meantime; I have old school US Amps US1000 in super shape. I know it should put out 1000 watts bridged at 2 ohms. How much extra do you anticipate if I can get voltage above 12 volts? I realize the older Class A/AB amps arent efficent but I love great sound Thanks for any input~Mike

I will give thought to the ZX; I have standard cab truck and good with subs
