Maxim
Or should he get a single 15 under 400$ and get an Aq2200 or something. And set gains to like 1800 until he gets electrical upgrade If you feed it clean power (upgrade electrical to keep your battery voltage up and set gains properly) the SA-15's will take over 1000 watts with no issues. If you're looking for a single monster woofer, something like a Fi BL 15" or a DC level 4 or XL would bang quite nicely on more power (1500-2000+ watts). The Fi woofer can be ordered straight off their site for a tad over $300. I've never run DC so I have no idea what the level 4's and XL's go for. If you've got the room for a proper box, the 2 SA-15's on the same power will be louder. If you've got room for either a single 15 or 2 12's, then the call's up to your brother. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

Guest
So a single fi bl would be just as loud as 2 sa 12s not necessarily. he's just saying that you CAN get as loud/louder with one powerful woofer than two smaller woofers
