goinpro
Which ones do you guys think would better for a pair of lvl 4's. I will be running one sub to one amp. I am figuring that the PA wont be putting out a complete 2300 @1 ohm but does the PB put out a full 1500 @ 1 ohm? which would you guys recommend? gotFI?
i was using a powerbass xa-3000d with my Fi BL 18" the only bad thing is you better have a 2 good batts to it. 1 up front and 1 to the rear. alot of amp draw. other then that, it slams. at least 2700 rms @ 1 ohm
Forevrbumpn
actually the a3000db puts out rated power + some, dont let the name brand fool you, its a common proven amp board/design used by about 5+ other companies like Planet Audio, and a few other good names... By far best wattage you can get for the money... I owned 2, first one did have a problem with it, I still dont know if it was my pre amp, or a defective amp that fizzled it, or a bad signal from my head unit - which I did find out my deck had jacked up solder job on the RCAs Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. mrwigglezdj
well in my honest opp. if money isnt a real big issue i would save themoney and buy powerbass over poweracoustik, better looking amps and better quality compared to pa amps Quote Americas loudest work van2006 iasca heavyweight bassboxing champion at 150.4 db with 60second average TL8 memphis PR15s,12 memphis PR6.5's coax,4 memphis PR 1inch tweets
majorpayne
I liked my powerbass...i ended up breaking it but it went through hell, on a stock 110 amp alt and stock battery it took drops to 9 volts like it wasnt a problem, so low my mids and highs amp would shut off and the powerbass would keep kickin, after a few months of being mounted on the box with a btl 18 a few caps broke off the board and she fried..... goinpro
well I picked up 2 1500ds so we will see how they go. I am going to be ordering a 220+ amp from Dom hopefully within the next couple weeks and then I will be getting my LVL 4's with CF dust cap.
