The Big Oki Posted November 13, 2007 Report Share Posted November 13, 2007 Well, actually David invited me the first when I was in France, sorry Timay But you invited me the 2nd time and put on more and more pics that I had a more and more bad feeling about finding no real time. But I saw its worth it to spend a lot of time here (I know A LOT OF PEOPLE READ HERE, not just from the states .) So I took opportunity to share some knowledge. Steve, I am pleased to hear that from your "keyboard". The forum is so damn big and I am just a little light here (maybe a little HOT LIGHT, but still little). I think the whole community together is something special, at least for now that I dont know all the dark and evil secrets yet, hahaha ! But I try to find out. I am looking also for new ideas and I am sure to find some here. Saw already some great work from others ! Just add our minds together and become more successful ! Thats the way to go ! Üüüühh!!! So there are LOTS of threads already into the bottom. I use the about 14 original ones to mount that plate (dance floor) into the car. 14 bolts what are about 12mm (1/2") thick. They are supposed to hold 5 people up to 280 pounds each. Thats more than my enclosure weights. Holes are exactly at the original place. Lots of measuring has been done. These hold A LOT ! Then I also have aluminum "rails" with lots of threads in them to mount side walls and so on. thanks for explaining!! i understand, and your english was just fine. anything new builds coming up?? thanks again!! The Big Oki Posted November 13, 2007 Report Share Posted November 13, 2007 No new builds are planned for the next 2 years at last ! This car must be good for this time. Thats why I made so much detail work on it. And it has to be finished first, to satisfy MY MIND ! There is still a long way to go til then. MAYBe end of next year I reach that level and I planned to have it THIS year, but well a lot of things went wrong what I had no influence of... So you all have to be good with that car If there WOULD be time and possibility, I already have a first idea to build a new car with ACR Sponsors real cheap stuff, EYEBRID for example. That would be 24 12" Subs on about 6-12 big Amps. ALL EYEBRID in that car. Car itself will be in the same "Oki Style" with lots of Details and of course to be able to become equipped with higher quality stuff, or it would be a waste of time and money to build something just for one setup (IMO). Car will maybe be a VW T5 Van with more than 2 seats at the end. Maybe it has a hitch that I can trailer my TÜRANN haha. Ok, but again, finishing the TÜRANN project is priority one for me ! I am in the States for almost 2 months, then prepairing for new season, so there is absolutely no time to build something new. But hte head is already (or still) working... Üüüühh!!!
