The Big Oki
Hi, this is about my Ü2 car what startet my "real" SPL career. Built it just for SPL, but in the first months it turned into a "music" car what is loud also. So this is why it looks a little "shytty" in some parts, but basically the built system is same as in my other cars. The material I used is the same high quality stuff. Just the car itself is a little, ok, not so high end. But it brough me from Germany to Amerika I even can put this box into other cars or interchange Speaker inserts. I put in my loved Strokers, the subs I still like the most in the world ! Sure, the old ones with the "nipples" A great SQPL combination together with Zapco Amps and Andrian Audio Speakers. There is a special relation to that car and I never will forget it (and the moments I had)... And if you may recognized it, I still use things I built for that car in my brandnew car, the TÜRANN, for example the Zapco Display Holders and Kickpanels, that safes a lot of worj if you dont have to fabricate everything new. I use the panels in more than two cars... Here are some pics and you can see more on that galerie: http://www.dbdrag.de/~oki/okicars/okicars/okicars.html And here, if you want and I have time, I may answer some q´s about that car. Feel free to ask. Yes, its Alma Gates Üüüühh!!! Michael www.SQPL.de Rulez!

The Big Oki
Hehehe ! Indeed, I LOVE THEM ! I heard about Cerwin Vega in 1986 and in 1992 I fell in love with the old Strokers ! For me still the best sub of the world, even if others produce some more level or withstand more power. But that sound is still giving me goosebumps. The new ones are ok, shake the ground in low bass, but they have low efficiency also. Sound is way slower, but they something in them also. To this day I own still about 30+ old Strokers in different versions from 12-18", a handful of new Stroker Pro and new Strokers, as well as at least 40-50 more Cerwin Vega subs. Yes, you can say, I love Cerwin Vega ! But unfortunately the brand philosophies have changes in the last year. The VMAX was the last one I tested, they are ok, but too weak at some points. They still have the typical "CV Sound" but its not the same anymore. Very sad, but not to change now... PS.: With the old Strokers I hit the 160,2 in 2003 with my red car before I used the Atomics with double the power. And I won SQ and SPL competitions (and championships) with them ! The best time in my life was guided from the Strokers... (with the nipples ) Üüüühh!!! Michael www.SQPL.de Rulez!
