traxxas101 Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 Hey guys im installing my friends system right and i got everything hooked up and he wanted everything to be oem intergrated so i did and everything works when the car off.. Amp stays on and sounds good! When i start the car the amp start to go into protect and then out almost like its flickerin on and off.. WTF!!! Idk whys its doin this can you guy plz explain i checked the ground but not the positive lead yet so idk also i put a volt meter and its like 13.8 when the amp is off but when i turn it on it drops to about 12.6 then cuts on and off when the cars running.. I jus dont get why the amp would run fine when the car is off but into an out of protect when its running.. Idk lol im gonna go crazy! [/quote the ignition wire.. but that doesnt matter bc even if i make a jumper and use the + on the amp for my remote it still goes into protect! Damn I was thinking it had something to to do with your remote. I can't think of any thing else that would cause your problem.
