Well everyone I had gotten lucky enough for a UBL, and will go ahead and start uploading pics and descriptions as the work progresses!

First off start with the list of present equipment because some changes have been made since the start of the build like most!

The car has been debadged, removed factory pinstripe, and tinted the taillights the right way!

Used tinted clear-coat! 9 coats to get the darkness and depth I wanted, plus can see them perfectly at night or during the day! A few local cops have told me that they are the darkest but most visable!

And you can see they look great on the car!

Next on the agenda came the radio housing. As in most ford cars, you have that huge, costly mounting kit. Well for my car, they dont make one as I have a digital climate control instead of the analog. Well this little difference posed a problem as to where I can mount my radio. I didnt want to completely destroy the factory radio as I will most likely trade this car in in the future, so I went decided, since I dont use the ashtray too much, thats a perfect spot.

I started by making a mold of the face of the ashtray.

The housing is only about 90%, it will be painted denim blue to match the interior, and smoothed better! It was a 2 day job, during a blizzard, to give me something to do!

Next up came the decision for my 6.5" KEF's. As most know the factory speakers in this car are 5x7" in the front doors. Well I dont like basic, I like character and custom! So I made the decision to build pods for my door panels, but I didnt want to build on the factory doors so I came up with this.

Now came the rings for the speakers! I wanted flush mounted rings with a beauty ring to cover the screws for the speakers! Mind you these are my first attempt with a plunge router, and yeah I am hooked!
