First off start with the list of present equipment because some changes have been made since the start of the build like most! Used tinted clear-coat! 9 coats to get the darkness and depth I wanted, plus can see them perfectly at night or during the day! A few local cops have told me that they are the darkest but most visable! And you can see they look great on the car! Audio-Concepts Posted October 26, 2011 Author Report Posted October 26, 2011 Next on the agenda came the radio housing. As in most ford cars, you have that huge, costly mounting kit. Well for my car, they dont make one as I have a digital climate control instead of the analog. Well this little difference posed a problem as to where I can mount my radio. I didnt want to completely destroy the factory radio as I will most likely trade this car in in the future, so I went decided, since I dont use the ashtray too much, thats a perfect spot. Well I dont like basic, I like character and custom! So I made the decision to build pods for my door panels, but I didnt want to build on the factory doors so I came up with this. Mind you these are my first attempt with a plunge router, and yeah I am hooked! Next up the long process of fiberglassing and bondo magic!
