412 CVX Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) i usually tell people to make their own boxes (of course i would, right) but sometimes if it's made for a specific subwoofer, or specific brand, then it can be pretty good. i don't have any personal experience with this box, so i couldn't tell you exactly how it performs, but hell if you can get it for $100 or less, it's probably worth it. you'd likely pay at least $50 for materials. i say if it's less than $100 total then go for it and let us know what you think of it. armykyle1 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 Those boxes with a W7 properly powered 1k-1.5k sound pretty Damn good. They get down pretty low and are pretty Damn loud. The higher end isn't too good though. The setup on those boxes are weird. The port comes over the top of the sub the exits the oval hole in front of the woofer. It's almost like a 6th order but not really. Only reason being, whether it works out or not for you, at under $100 you could turn around and sell it for at least 80% of what you got it for...
