Sinosic Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 it will go away its more than likly the glue on the voice coil. after awhile the glue becomes like a crusty shell and wont smell anymore. every new sub i have owned smelled almost like beef jerky. but went away. i would make sure your gain is set right, and not to push it to hard once it starts to smell. i turned my shit off whenever i smelled the glue burning. but only had to do that about 3 or 4 times and it stopped.
