jfoodstamp Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 The Colossus amplifier is one of there highest end amps. I ran one for a few months until I swapped it out with a Rockford Power 2500, db drive A72500.1 and neither one of those could hold a candle to that amp. The wired bass EQ is one of the best that you will find.

draper Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Decent amp, i have one powering my 2 kicker l7's. If you want full potential out of your sx 18 i would recomend another collossus. I play mine at full tilt and it gets HOTT in the summer time. With just that amp you will need a h/o alternator and a d3100 plus a good battery up front. My electrical is a mechman 270 amp alt, 3100, and 3400. Not to much voltage drop. Gets down to low 13's(v) at idle. Also the clip light is pretty accurate. You can see right where clipping is; right when you see the red and green flicker on the clip indicator you shouldn't turn it up anymore. 97 crown vic kenwood hu big 3 mechman 270 amp alt 1 d3400 2 d3100 hiffonics collosus (bass) Hifonics Zues (mids and highs) 2 15in kicker l7s dynamat extreme sound deadner viper secured
