  1. I like mine... It may not be 100 percent accurate but i use it as a reference point. Song's bass notes are at different starting amplitudes. So say in one song the note might be at -3.3db and another song might be at -1.7 So your total unclipped volume is going to be different with different tracks. I have measured mine with the dd-1 and it seems pretty consistant.
  2. I have 2 out of 3 of them that the head phone jack is not fully functional. I was wondering where i can get them repaired.
  3. Future is an artist that is blowing up because of the sound he makes; lyrically he can afford to be weak cause that is not what people that like his music are really listening for...
  4. 2 15's= more cone area. Thats what i would go with...

  8. Yeah... There is only one wiring harness going into the antenna
  9. The Led is in the responder itself. So how would i take that out?
  10. ya i did that i just was wondering if there was a way to electricly eliminate the light.
  11. I was wondering if there was any way to completly turn it off so it doesnt blink when armed and isnt on when in valet.
  12. In Texas You can legally shoot a thief if you catch him trying to steal something. (Even in back yard)
  13. Since you have that new of a truck and assuming that you are going to keep it and eventually upgrade your soundz, i would definatly recommend a aftermarket high output alt. Mechman would probably be your best bet.
  14. I have the kenwood aftermarket cable and it didn't do anything. I hit sound check in the ipod itself and that seemed to clear it up. I also locked the volume at one click down because all the way turned up it sounded like clipping (used multiple head phones) at 30-80 hz.
  15. Just went back to target to swap it out for a another one; just in case it was defective. I pull my old ipod touch out of the usb port and plug the brand new one in (with exactly the same song playing) and a huge difference in sound quality. Maybe the new ipod touches just sound like shit.
  16. i tried the aux cord and the skipping stopped but it still sounds really muddy compared to my 2 year old ipod touch
  17. I just bought a brand new 32gb ipod touch from target... When i play it thru both head units that i have it sounds distorted and almost like the track is skipping. My old ipod sounds fine. Has anyone ever had this issue?
  18. Not Really, that model has 4 volt preouts. If you wanted to install a mids and highs amp you woild have preouts for that also.

  20. I love how kenwood sets their controls up and that you get a remote with most of them. Especially if you do a lot of highway driving, it is safer if you have a remote control for your hu because you don't have to move your eyes off the road to turn it up or change the song. Also What are you wanting to play cds,mp3,ipod? With Most kenwoods you can get a specific cord for an ipod and run that directly from the back of the unit to the glove box. I like that feature so i can keep my ipod locked up.
  21. I was thinking about purchasing one for my 1997 crown victoria and was wondering what the best add ons there were available.
