Input Appreciated! Sports E-Commerce Website!

I have a pretty broad question for everyone here, all input is appreciated.

What would you guys want to see in a huge internet retail (ecommerce store) for sports and activities?

The obvious of brands and sales of the common sporting goods is in mind, I am looking for more input on all the other areas a site like this could hit!

(P.S. - This is not a new company I am starting, but a longtime friend and serial entrepreneur is and figured I could get some pretty fast input this way!)

Well being a long-time sport player and ordeing off the net alot.

I would say if he/she has Fast Reponse Time, Quick Shipping of Merchandise, and Products that are most popular in demand always in stock it could be a Great idea, after putting a name out there for him/herself's website.

Can't give much more info I'm not that experienced in that area.

A huge factor I have to deal with is having stuff shipped APO. A lot of websites don't offer it and it's a huge deal for us guys serving overseas. Since we already have a limitted amount of options here, we have to rely on the ability to order it.

I am not sure they will ever offer APO shipping :/. But yes as far as goods, selection, etc that is what we are looking for input on.
