Twostrokeking Posted October 22, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 22, 2012 So I decided to undercoat in my door jams where you step and right under that where it is prone to rock chips. First here it is before, its got over spray from the rockers on it. 99% of the brown you see in either picture is excess rubbing compound that I never wiped off. Sanded and masked. Sprayed, I still need to wipe the dust off the sides. My legs slide down it when I get out of the truck and I never noticed until yesterday when I was wearing shorts and the undercoat skid across the back of my leg pulling the hairs > But its grippy. Put my finger in it on accident. But its fixed now. I sprayed it way to thick and it took hours to dry... but its good now. Looks kinda dumb in the foot well but I cant decide if i should color match that part yet or not. Was brand new in box and I couldn't find one cheaper then 250 online. It rolls up if i need to put something in the bed. Doesn't involve screwing into the rails at all. just clamps on and looks really good.
