Beanz
SO would i set the gains on the amplifier and then go with the epicnter or will this throw it off? Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. TonyD'Amore
Its going to be a bit tricky with the epicenter for sure. I would follow the instructions in the DD-1 manual, leaving the epicenter effect level to the maximum level. Then after gains are set back the epicenter down. If when you are finished, it sounds like there is not enough gain, try the -15dB track.
Beanz
THe thing is that the RCAs goes into the epcenter taht comes for the stereo and then after have to go to another output to teh amplifier Quote That's why they don't deliver. TonyD'Amore
Are you just setting your subwoofer amplifier, or are there full range amplifiers in your system too?

TonyD'Amore
Connect the DD-1 to headunit's RCA output. Make sure bass, treb, and eqs and crossovers are off. Play the 40Hz -0dB track. Turn the volume up until you see distortion and note the max volume of the headunit. Now leave headunit volume to max volume setting found from 1st step. Set epicenter effect level to where you think it will be used. Connect headunit output to epicenter input. Connect epicenter output to amplifier input. Connect DD-1 to amplifier speaker outputs. Turn amplifier crossover to highest frequency. Play 40Hz -10dB track. Adjust gain on amplifier until you see distortion, then back off a little until it's gone. Done. If you have problems with this let me know. The epicenter creates distortion to do what it does so it may or may not work. Please let me know!
