port location in my truck

Okay so I'm getting ready to build my new box for my 2 L7s and ran into something interesting tonight.

Truck is a 2011 Dodge ram 1500.

Right now my box is behind my drivers seat with the port behind my head and the sub by my window, both facing up. It sounds good but its not quite what I know the sub can do...but than my Fiancé drove my truck tonight and it sounds SOOOO MUCH BETTER from the passangers seat! Like that's what I figured it would sound like.

I plan to have my second sub in and thumping by next week and now have another box question. Should I still have it sub/port up or move the port location? Should I put the subs behind me and the port under the window?

Box is gonna be ~3ft^3 per sub tuned to 35-36hz w/ 80"2 port

lol

Sub forward behind passenger, port pointing to the driver side sounds best in my Ram.

My rear seat is a 70/30 bench that folds up so I only can give up the seat behind the drivers side.

I could do sub up port up or sub up port side, but that's about it, no subs forward. If it was side port it would blow toward the passanger side
