qu1cks1lver56
I just got a T4004 in a trade, amp is in great shape, really clean inside, nothing burnt/discolored, no swollen caps. But the sound that comes out is majorly distored and cuts out sometimes. Here's a video, source is an ipod, I checked everything here with a t3002 and it was clean, so I know it's the amp. http://youtu.be/vYvMg3imAcw edit: I fail at embed FML double edit: this time the distortion isn't the camera mic Edited November 21, 2011 by qu1cks1lver56 Quote First Gen Xterra: Always changing DNX 690HD RF 360.3RF T3002RF T4004RF T10001bdSilver Flute 6.5"s Tang Band 1" TweetersSundown X18 in 7cubes net tuned to 32hz Trust me .25 Blows your Load. qu1cks1lver56
Yeah, idk what it could be, it almost is like a scratchy pot, but it never cleans up. I kinda think it's a cap that's bled down, the front hald of the amp is even worse. I might hook it up to my headunit with 4v pre outs and hit it hard with some signal and see if it'll clean up. Maybe someone can shed some light on the situation. qu1cks1lver56
Haha yeah, it's not the speaker, I swapped in my T3002 and it was clean, only change was the amp, same wires, source, and speaker. qu1cks1lver56
why are you bridging the amp have you tried with out it being bridged? I've tried it every way possible, ran mono on each channel, bridged the front, bridged the rear. Only thing that cleans up is the right rear channel if I run signal to it for a while. That amp Is not bridgeable so that's where I would start... Edit I take that back.. I was wrong I know for a fact it's bridgeable lol.
