I recently scored 2 Hifonics Brutus 12"s and a Hifonics 1500RMS Mono block amp. I found the specs on the site and this is what it says about an SPL box for these. Box volume - 3 cubic feet fb - 44 hz port size height - 12.5 inches port size width - 3 inches port length - 21.2 inches F3 - 35 hz The approximate usable volume of my trunk is 3.58ft wide by 1.83ft deep, and 1.66ft in height. (if I have it pushed pretty much to the back of the trunk. Which I think I want?) Here's the manual of the subs if you need it for reference I have the Hifonics HFi1500D amplifier as well. amp specs if needed Will you guys be able to help me? And what do you think of the setup I got?

I want ported for sure, but aren't slot ports better? what would be the best way to set them up with what I've got? And yes I will be listening to music with them, I guess I'm pretty damn new to the whole box thing and such. lol.

Slots take up more space the longer they are & have to come a consistant width & heigh ( if it starts at 4"wide - 12.5" high, it has to finish 4" wide - 12.5" under all circumstances... ) And I have a 94' Honda Accord LX 4-Dr - You can get a bigger enclosure in there.. EVEN THOUGH it's a 4-dr... The space is at max 3" of different ... BTW - That's (4) 12" Eclipse 7200s Sealed... And that box was NOT small. Even with the trunk closed I don't think you lose any space.
