How to wire 2 component speakers together?? Alpine SPS-610C

Someone can update this or correct me if i'm wrong.

But from what i learned elsewhere (just the speakers) you can run one pos + to a + connection then the neg - to your - connection

then twist the 2 remaing wires together. As far as adding the tweets to that i'm still trying to figure that out.

So I should just run 2 positives from one channel to each speaker? Same with the neg?

can you amp handle 2 ohms when you parallel 2 4 ohm speakers as in 2 positives together and 2 negatives it makes it 2 ohms again you should put both left tweets to the front left channel both right tweets to the right front channel then the 2 right mids to the rear right channel then the to left mids to the rear left channel if the amp can run at 2 ohms

or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp

Im asking these questions cuz i lacking knowlesge and wanna know more haha. Can I still hook up my rear speakers? And then wouldnt that mess with the surround sound in the car since ur hooking up front speakers in the rear channel? What if the mids have a spot to plug in the tweats? Can I do that instead of taking up a channel for just tweats? Or still too mch for one amp?

I appreciate all the help!

if the mids have a hook up for the tweets that would be ideal and would only take up one channel but you will still have to run the rear channels most amps call them "rear channels" but its just channel 1 2 3 4 they all do the same thing there is no surround sound in amps they put out power and have a crosssover thats it!

unless your getting some high end amp that has a processor in but with your gear i highly doubt that

and you have 4 mids 4 tweets and some rear speakers? do not run your rear speakers on that amp with all your front speakers if needed buy a cheap 50 dollar 2 channel amp like 100 watts for the rear if needed

O wow! Seriously!? There is no surround in car amps!? Wow..haha I'm Such a newb..ok so no diff then..ok so all 4 front ones on one amp. Ok. If I only have a mono block amp, how would I wire the 4 rear speakers?? And also what about the channels from the radio? Should I bridge the front right and left wires from the radio to rear and front left and right to the amp? And the rear channel wires from the radio to the second amp?

I found these laying around. I was told these r crossovers. Can someone please tell me if they r?? If not what r they?? Thanks

Sweet!! I just found out and got news that these r indeed crossovers from a stock Benz I used to own! Thanks maticus! So now could I wire all 4 to 2 channels? Or still would I have to use my whole amp on just the front 4??

those are passive crossovers not sure how many outputs are on them but do not use a mono block for mids and highs unless you dont care about left and right or it sounding like an old old horn recored player lol

mono = 1

stereo where your mids and highs should be at = 2

I was told they have 2 outputs. 1 input and 1 input for tweats and 1 input for mid. Ohhhh good point..so I would have to get at least a 2 channel amp?
