Jeremy1998
Ok, I used the calculator, and it says this is right, but I am never too sure about my ability to type the right numbers in the right places... So... Here is what I came up with. Can anyone check it for me? Sub: Fi Q 18 (these measurements are internal dimensions. I will calculate the outside dimensions when I actually make it.) 60" high 24" wide 18" deep 40" port lenth 24" wide port 6" tall port tuning: ~28hz And I drew this in paint in case I don't make sense. loudNlow87
It's pretty close. Your port AND box can't be the same width, though. You gotta subtract material thickness. which will change tuning/port area a bit. What kinda net volume were you seeking? Using 3/4 mdf, the outside would be 25.5 inches. The measurements are the internal dimensions... I will calculate the external dimensions when I make it.
