2 Alternators? Help!

I have heard mixed storys about how to wire this up..

I am getting 2 AD244 Alternators tomorrow, don't a need a dual alternator harness or something?

I heard these things that i need one of these...

MLA Module

XS POWER VCM

A Harness

just custom wire together and it will be fine

Help someone with experience

My truck is a 1988 S15 Jimmy using a 1991 C1500 Computer

I still have a SI Alternator plug need to know what to do

You will need the plugs for those ad244 series alts, and just custom wire them if you want to call it that, you don't need a mla or vcm if you are just going to run 12 volt system(charge at 14.4+). You only have to have one wire connected in each harness for these alts to come on, it is one of the two middle wires, and for the life of me I can't remember which one it is at the moment. And that wire just has to see 12 volt ignition it is what tells the regulator to turn on.

alright thanks, i believe these alternators charge at 14.6 anyway, everyone i ever installed did.
