TheGreatJuice
I recently upgraded from a JL 1000w mono to a 2500w mono, big 3, second battery; the whole shebang. I kept the same L7 12"s and after i got everything installed, the sound was only a little louder. I still have stock SYNC head unit an i was wondering if upgrading it would fix this problem. Any help is appreciated guys.

TheGreatJuice
I had it installed by a car audio shop so i assume so. They looked to match the settings on the previous amp
bass_stalker
wait whats the problem? if its a problem with the output you might just be limited by the subs and their enclosure, not so much the amp Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. TheGreatJuice
Thats what i was wondering. I wasnt sure if it was my radio limiting the output or my subs reaching their output limit
bass_stalker
it could be a mix of both. if you get a new radio you would probably have a better sound and more flexibility depending on the model, i'm guessing you are using either high inputs or a high to low converter, Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow.
