Lol I couldn't run 2 alts if I wanted in my little fusion. If I had a 270 amp alt and another XS d3400 it would be fine up to 4000w+. I'm running 2500w on a stock 150 amp alt and a d3400 and it's going strong as long as I lay off at idle
-
That'll be my upgrade most likely haha
-
I'm running 1 RE XXX 12" on 2500w and I was looking at them. If I ever change subs, I'll probably get 2 10s in those. They fucking slam but I was hearing bad things about their efficiency as daily drivers
-
How efficient are these subs? I've heard that as daily drivers they arent that efficient. Also how clean do they sound?
-
I'm currently using the Roc Nation Aviator's from Skullcandy and I personally think the quality is higher than the Beats headphones (except the Beats Studio Headphones lol), has anyone personally used the new Soul's to say if they're good or not?
-
Sorry, I had a brain fart lol. No, I actually do not own a High-Low Converter currently. These are the settings I have currently on my amplifier
-
I have no idea.
-
Thats what i was wondering. I wasnt sure if it was my radio limiting the output or my subs reaching their output limit
-
I had it installed by a car audio shop so i assume so. They looked to match the settings on the previous amp

I recently upgraded from a JL 1000w mono to a 2500w mono, big 3, second battery; the whole shebang. I kept the same L7 12"s and after i got everything installed, the sound was only a little louder. I still have stock SYNC head unit an i was wondering if upgrading it would fix this problem. Any help is appreciated guys.

If you wanna get real low and sound amazing at the same time, get the XXX. It hits so many frequencies with perfection

I know how much output these little 8's output but how is the sq of these beasts??

Over a year ago I put a D1200 under the hood of my car. The top of the battery reads 1200 max amps on the battery but the wattage guide says it has 2600 max amps. Am I reading it wrong??
-
D1200 under the hood.

I read the battery wattage guide and it says the D1200 has 2600 max amps but when I look at it under the hood, the battery says on the label that it only has 1200amps -
Which sub is too big for a car?
TheGreatJuice replied to TheGreatJuice's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
I'm already sound deadening the whole car. I just need to do the floor and behind the dash to finish the car. I'll be running only 2500w on it. I don't need anything louder than 1 18". I'm just trying to achieve SQ because the sub is built for it but also to be loud as shit lol
