jlfskillz Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Im building a box in school for my 2 kicker cvr 12s. I need help knowing how to tune the ports or what the perfect air space is. so please post and help me work my way through this
AmericanLegend Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 The last box I made for CVR 12s was 4.0 cubic feet (internal) with 64 square inches of port (8"x8") tuned to 28 hz. The port needed to be 28 inches long or so, if I recall correctly. The results were LOUD and DEEP bass with very little distortion and off only 1000 watts RMS. Good Luck!
