How Good of Deal would this be?

A friend of mine is selling his two Earthquake 15" Subs for 150$ in a box. Has anyone had any Earthquake subs or some opinions on them or if I should get them?

no bad at all, depending witch ones they are

i had 4-12's earthquake DBX-d's i think they where, bought them for $800 and sold them for $500 two yrs later

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure they were good and it seems they are. I've heard they get loud, but do they hit low bass too?

it all depends on the box, tune it low

the easiest way to tell the better of the earthquake subs its because of the surround, the ones i had the bigger surround, the cheaper ones are normal and cant handle sht lol

lol yeah. I'm asking him for a picture and i think he has the DBXI's from what he's told me so far.
