WillPwn4Food
I'm actually quite disappointed with your Windows score... Don't get me wrong, LOVE the computer. It's beast... But I feel like your score should be higher. My computer is nearly 2 years old, and had it not been for my HD being a simple 7200RPM, I'd have a 7.4... (The HD dropped overall to a 5.9) I'm only running the following... AMD Phenom II x4 3.0 (Overclocked to 4.0 on air cooler) 8GB DDR2 800 RAM (1) Radeon 4890 Black Edition See my confusion? I think the Windows Rating is a sham. Steve626
I agree with you on the Windows Score.. even though I nearly maxed out 4 catagories, I would have scored higher had I went with a better SSD Drive, I MAY swap it out this week for a Corsair 120GB Force drive.. should have went with that one from the get go but my local shop didnt have any and I was impatient! :-/ Current : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167047 NEW: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233191 Not really in a rush though, it boots in about 20 seconds.. and every app opens instantly Quote 2004 Nissan Altima 2.5 20 Inch Lexani Wheels / Tires (2) Re SR 15s US AMPS AX600DE Audison SRX-4 Herts ECX 165 front Polk momo 6x9s rear Pioneer AVH-3200 DVD
WillPwn4Food
I'm jelly. Still takes mine about a minute to start up. 15-20 seconds for my startup progams to start. Edit: Holy damn. That new SSD is going to be a HUGE performance booster. I think the Windows Rating is a sham. I don't see anything wrong with his windows score. It maxes out at 7.9. He's maxed out for graphics. He's one notch away for processor and RAM. Only way to get RAM to 7.9 is to run at 1866mhz or higher. I haven't seen a processor score a 7.9 yet legitimately (haven't done much searching for Sandy Bridge-E benchmarks yet). And to get a 7.9 in hard drive you need to run a RAID array. I've got a 2600K at 4.5, 8GB 1866mhz RAM, dual 6970's, and a 120GB Intel 320 SSD. Even at over 5ghz you'll still score a 7.8 for processor. Please don't use WEI as a legitimate benchmark. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . gaspricessuckk
I believe I checked my windos score today or last night and it was either a 5.1 or a 5.9 I can't remember.
