okay im completely new to the car audio game i have a orion hcca 12.4 .. but no idea what amp i need and i need one cheap plz help

Well if your gonna use a single sub you should have went with the hcca12.2 being a dual 2 ohm sub to wire down to 1 ohm . But since u already have the 12.4 the lowest you can wire a single dual 4 ohm sub is 2 ohms .... So I would get a 2 ohm stable amp that's where they make the most power, I know kicker is 2 ohm stable, so is some jbl ... Ap 3k ... Some other ones ....

Get a kicker 1500...-2500 with some batts to make it happy
