Ian01 Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 Topic says it all. My car is very sound (luckily), but I'm left with two enemies... a. the trunk & b. the rearview mirror. I'm really starting to get into this car with money and figured I should consider damping; can anyone guide me on how to dampen my trunk? ·· YouTube ·· ·· The Ride · The Audio ·· ··· The Toy ···
MIKE-2U Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 easy, buy the deaden , comes in sheets however long. you cut it into pieces easier to manger and use a wood roller, and just roll it on the metal. CLEAN metal first with alcohol, but its really that easy. BTW my trunk is deadened 2 layers, my floor 1. whole trunk 1. and rearview still vibrates and falls. Its the vibration running thought the rear window up the roof all to the front. 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoPioneer AVH- 3200DVD2/0 Flex-A-Prene Welding Cable (2) Fully Loaded Fi Sp4's dual 1-------> My YouTube Channel <------- Needs more power those woofers will laugh at that turd
