Basic MECP certification?

Alright here's the deal, I am really wanting to test for my basic MECP certification and hopefully get a job in a shop until I get through school and start my own. I just have a few questions as to what I can expect to see on the test. I am pretty well knowledged in electronics already, I passed the Automotive Electrical Systems course 1 & 2 @ North High School with flying colors, just something about me and electrical systems "sparked".... pun totally intended.

I've even gained so much popularity in my town because of the work I've done on some of my friend's cars and those friends showing their friends and so on so forth. I get a minimum of 15 texts per day from people I don't know wanting me to install for them, it's starting to get a little overwhelming and almost saddens me because I love doing this so much but I can't install for all these people in one day.

Most of what I know in basic electrical systems I learned at North High, I picked up on audio by myself just Googling shit for fun. I love everything about audio, I love learning how it works, formulas, getting behind dashes, getting covered in MDF dust, just everything electronic in general.

I am just wondering what I could expect to see on the test, if the practice guide is anything like the real deal, and if I fail the test the first time do I have to pay for it again? Thanks guys!
