Wished I had a garage full of tools, where I could have done more elaborated stuff. In time I will, at least I hope. It took me 6 months just to finish the hatch area but . I had to gather the money for the subs and such. Lowsound10: the bar you see is for the harnesses.......aka seat belts, LOL No videos as of yet but Im gonna have the car repainted now in January and we will be doing some videos with some of our cars as soon as it ready. Im also gonna be doing the doors and the enclosure where the back seat used to be. I get some of my flushed rings for the doors tomorrow, then I should be getting the 8" rings next week and in the coming weeks I will be gathering the equipment. Cant wait to start. This time I will take more pics for sure.

I see they come with different amps........... NOPE , no need for an isolator getting an upgraded battery from the stock one is a good start . placement of you battery , or batteries closer to you amps would be ideal..even if it were just the second battery in the back and leaving your primary in the stock location ...use good wire , as well as the proper size will get a better performance out of your equipment and keep you from a stock alt. meltdown and minimize the hard drain while running other 12v needs in the car ( upgrading you main lead off the charging post would be a good move too !! ) They see me rollin They hatin Patrollin they tryin to catch me ridin dirty...

I got some templates done, Tuesday I will get some MDF and start cutting and building. Here's a few pics of what I have done so far. Prepped some of the plastic trim pieces for some fiberglass................ Template for the back wall and sub-floor................. Kinda where I'm planning to place the equipment. The X-over you see in the picture (where it sits right now) and a distribution block (back wall-above X-over). The other amp will go on the opposite side to this one and the battery will go right in between the amps with (2) 10"s on each side (above the amps). I personally would like to place the amps the other way instead, we'll see how they fit once I place the battery between them. I don't wanna make it too crowded.

Picked up a new toy for New Year ! Marked where the placement of the screws are gonna be........I pre-drilled and then counter-sunk the holes Once I cutted some of the pieces, it was time to start putting them together with screws and glue The contours will be sanded later on................ Temporarily in place.......... I'm gonna be fiberglassing this area so that it becomes one whole piece with the sub-floor. I'll probably be using this pockets to install the amps at an angle and facing to the outside. The cardboard will give me a better flater surface to work on than that of the car.............. And finallly the back wall....................It will need some contouring on the top a little later on, since I want it to match with the somewhat round bottom edge of the side window. Hope this is coming together well. Don't know if there was a better way to do this, but due to my lack of experience this is all I could come up with.........................Please chime in with any suggestions/ideas. Thank you for tuning in. Tomorrow I got to take care of some business, so don't think I will be able to work on the car. Besides, don't think the resin will hold up well with the cold weather we're gonna have here in Florida tomorrow.
