Trill985
I was reading the manual before I tried to tune my sound tomorrow and seen that it says if I test with track 4 it will be maximum sound quality and if I do track 6 it would be a louder system. I was wondering how would a 1kHz -10db track be louder than a 1kHz -5db track?
eltortuga94
Because you would be setting your gains higher. Quote System: Basically Stock In process of upgrading

matt14
It made me understand better when I actually listened to the 1khz tracks at a low volume to understand that the -5db is a louder tone then the -10db. so is if you tune with the -5 track, the gain will be lower then if you tune with the other tracks. I set both my sub amp and mids/highs amp with the -5 track. Was told if you listen to some decaf, its better Quote 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-

I was thinking about going with -10 for my highs/mids/subs unless someone recommends other wise.. I want it to be loud and clear
matt14
I love the way mine sounds. I've been getting nothing but compliments from people whom recieve demos. I have the sub turned down for daily use, cause I'm not trying to listen to this thing at full potential all the time. You should tune your sub amp to what music you listen to, if you listen to alot of decaf, bigpimpin, etc, then set subs to -5 or -0 to be safe, if you listen to alot of "punchy" rock with loud kick drums then set amp at -10, & if you listen to songs that don't have very much bass at all like oldies then set amp @ -15. It's all relative to what music you listen to. Quote System: Basically Stock In process of upgrading
