ChevyBoy95
I have an upgraded version of the Inspiron 580. Just wanting better performance for running modern games better than i do now (GTA 4, Fallouts, etc.). I can run CSS and Half Life 2 on full and it runs smooth, but i know they dont require much. I think a major issue is my crappy graphics card that came standard. fyi, I PRACTICALLY DONT KNOW JACK SHIT ABOUT COMPUTERS, except a few things, lol Specs: i5 processor (3.2 Ghz, 2.66Ghz) 5.87GB Ram 1 TB harddrive (719 GB free) Windows 7 64 bit for what its worth Intel GMA X4500 (is the graphics card but not 100% sure) What would be a nice upgraded graphics card that would work with my desktop? budget would be up to about 200 or so, depending on certain things. And if there is anything else that would speed it up go ahead and say something. Please only people who are knowledgeable post, i am looking to learn and improve. Maxim
The computer has a slot for a graphics card on the inside so you're ready for upgrades. You'll need 2 things. A graphics card and an upgraded power supply to run it. For a $200 budget, here's a nice combo: Radeon HD 6790 1GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161377 Antec 550W Modular PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016 If you're one of those Nvidia folk, the 550Ti stacks up close to the 6790 in performance http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127573 Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
