P-rez Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 Ok...so my bro and I dropped in my new DC ALT in my burban...and it holds voltage exactly at 14v....the problem is that on my way home I was driving and out of nowhere this really high pitched sound started to come out of my speakers and it lasted for a good 30 sec and my speakers started to smoke up...idk what's going on it did about 3 times on the way home and I don't want my mids and highs to blow...can anyone help...did I do something wrong...oh I also just dropped in some 0 gauge today in the burban also... And the rest of your electrical system seems to be normal? Doesn't idle weird or anything? Amp is fine its still lit up green not in protect...and as for electrical everything is the same except for the added 0 gauge I put in today...and idle is fine...runs and drives smoothly ....I have no idea what's going on!!!
