Clipping of your amp is bad for the simple facts of 1 clipping is more power which is more heat and heat kills shit... And 2 more clipping = massive current draw... Which is more drop and below 12v=bad This is going to be kind of a dumb question.. But say I set my gains to where there is around 3-4% clip or so but my voltage does not drop below 12.5 and usually sits in the 13s, and the amps nor coils ever even get warm...
