garrett30
I get 9^3 gross, so you're probably way on the small side with port/subs subtracted. What are specs for the port opening? I see 15.5 high, but how wide is it? How does it sound so far as this box "seems" to be way out of whack for those subs... the opening of the port is 4.25". And hits pretty good on some songs and sounds bad on most. i had a buddy design it and i juta put it together
Jdubs04ss
I have 2 15" Memphis CM Mojo's in the trunk of my 04 Impala SS and subs firing to the rear with the back seats down is the loudest and there is a HUGEEEE audible difference between seats up and seats folded down. My seats are 60/40 folding seats and even just having the one seat down makes a huge difference Quote 2004 Impala SS (2 Tone) Kenwood DDX-512 (Nav,XM,Bluetooth,Ipod) Optima Yellowtop 240amp PB Alternator ZZP S2 Volt Booster Stinger SPV70 Battery(Trunk) Big 3(x2) Monster 1/0 50ft Monster P400 1/0 Monster I401 2C-4M RCA Memphis 16-VBF1 Line Driver Memphis 15-MCC6 6.5" Comps Memphis 15-MC92 6x9" Rears 15" Memphis CM Mojos Custom 4.3cube @32hz Enclosure Digital Deisgns M3a(Black)[email protected] "Yes I hear you...But can you feel me?" Jdubs04ss
I tuned mine to 32hz and it sounds great and leaves alot more volume for the subs due to the smaller port Quote 2004 Impala SS (2 Tone) Kenwood DDX-512 (Nav,XM,Bluetooth,Ipod) Optima Yellowtop 240amp PB Alternator ZZP S2 Volt Booster Stinger SPV70 Battery(Trunk) Big 3(x2) Monster 1/0 50ft Monster P400 1/0 Monster I401 2C-4M RCA Memphis 16-VBF1 Line Driver Memphis 15-MCC6 6.5" Comps Memphis 15-MC92 6x9" Rears 15" Memphis CM Mojos Custom 4.3cube @32hz Enclosure Digital Deisgns M3a(Black)[email protected] "Yes I hear you...But can you feel me?" You're around 10^2 per cube if you're lucky and it's tuned way too low. If you give me your max dimensions I'll see if I can come up with a better design that will fit. How much power do you have? mlstrass
I wouldn't worry about forward/rear firing right now as your box is just too far off to get much out of those subs...
raolito1980
Sub firing back, seat down. That has always worked best for me.
