Deepsilencer's Silverado Truck V.2

VERY impressive PnP socre. 57.9 looked like you metered with someone in the door opening which wouldn't be legal, unless you burped before he jumped in there, hard to tell from the vid. -
Some of the DOA guys plan to attend this one...

sound pressure league.org is based out of Denver....

WOW....was going to help, but won't waste my time on this idiot. If designs are so easy, then do your own shit instead of begging on here and then disrespecting a good designer...
-
I'd do 6cubes net for 4 of them...
-
<<<You want to interlock the corner joints, and you can not do this by gluing the sheets together first>>> Funny cuz every wall I build has interlocked corners and the panels are glued up ahead of time, even the triple layered ones. Just takes some thinking.... For a normal box you can just build the outer shell and add in the internal panels afterwards. If you're worried about the corners add small 45's to hold them together

Because you "listen" to specs right, not the actual speakers....

Believe they're different then the $200 set they used to sell. Installed that one in a team mate's ride and was very happy with them. Got quite loud and had decent midbass. For a hundo I'd take a chance on them...

Hard way: install a wall, then you'll never hear it rattle Simple way: put a small piece of weatherstripping tape on top of the housing where it's hitting the window -
I have the old school 3500's, not the 3500.1's unfortunately. 20cubes net is big, probably more efficient also. No way to go that big in my altima without a LOT of work and OP might have that problem also since he lists a Contour in his sig. OP I'd shoot for 17-20cubes net and you should be happy with it

Those doors should not have a problem with 2 sets of 6.5's. If the doors are sagging replace the pins/bushings. But if you already have the 5.25's then by all means use them....
-
I'm not responding to this ... Total bullshit post here ... No usefull information to help out the threadstarter in any way ... can't back up your bullshit statement
-
I think 5.25s might give you a better tone in the upper midrange area ... but not help you get any louder ... I completely disagree with this statement ... I think 5.25s might give you a better tone in the upper midrange area ... but not help you get any louder ... and just how did you come to that conclusion??? And for getting loud I think 6.5's are a waste of $$$, that's why I run 12's in my doors

I think you'll be much happier with this decision. you can always try a 4th order when you have time and do a comparison.
