Godsmack
With 6000+ watts I gotta agree with previous statements. 150+ IS do-able. You just gotta do testing and tuning man. ALOT of it. It sounds like ur on the right path man, please post pics as you do all of this. J "No poor dumb bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. ChampN252
I'm kinda in the same boat as homeboy. I wanna get a buck 50 in my Explorer with music. So from what buddy was saying earlier, if I don't intend to sit people in the back to enjoy vocals and such, I should have all my speakers up front? I know that the people that sit in my truck now with the four 12"s just wanna hear the bass. So I'm better off using some high powered components up front and kick panels? I'm working on 4 15"s so I gotta get it right. 2012 Honda Accord Radio: Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

mrwigglezdj
i didnt read all the thread, but i swear i will. imho its not hard to do 150-154 db legal on the dash with a wall, i did it very easily with 2 15 kicker cvrs a kole 3000d with 16ga power wire and 20 ga speaker (i belive it was 20 it was small as hell) and i did 149.8db with no adjustments to the amp or box, i built the box friday night and put the subs in saturday am went to the show with no amp burrowed a buddies amp and had no power wire ran or speaker wire ran and managed that spl IASCA style..... took the subs out the next day tore out the wall and put in my 12 10s in same box different face and same port and i did 150.4db with one 3000d then i steped up to 16v and 2 3000ds but didnt have a charger for the batts and managed 4 shows with dead batts and 150.2-150.5 db , got rid of 16v and back to 12v with 5 batts in the back 1 under hood and 2 3000ds still and did 150.4 60 sec avg. and 152.3db peak on music with the 12 10s and no tuneing or proper adjustment of the amps ..... but both amps were set the same (by eye) Americas loudest work van2006 iasca heavyweight bassboxing champion at 150.4 db with 60second average TL8 memphis PR15s,12 memphis PR6.5's coax,4 memphis PR 1inch tweets
