Ladybridgeport
I stopped charging them at night and when I start my car, they don't sizzle anymore. They may have been overcharged. Can't warranty them and they keep a good charge. I guess I'll scrap the corrosion off apply di-electric grease and finish my install. I cleaned my posts. My starter battery negative had so much that then I sanded off the corrosion, the bare copper was showing on the post. I covered it in dielectric grease. Hopefully the corrosion doesn't appear again. I tested my alternators. When driving at full battery charge without any draw. I metered 15.45 volts. Max 15.51 volts. The minimum was 15.13 volts. When I was stopped at a red light with heater going and using turn signal it dropped to 15.23 volts. When I take off, it went back up to 15.33 volts. Of course at the moment I don't have anything in my car that will draw a lot of current.
