CleanSierra Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 So my EX brother in law decided to drop one of his old Fosgate subs the other day, resulting in coil rub. He was running 2 Fosgate 10" HE's. Hes old school and decided to stay that way. He picked up two 10" HX2's that he's gonna run now. They're dual 4 ohm 3" VC subs and you guys remember they were nicely built. So here's the problem I'm having: he has TWO of the old Fosgate 400a4's and wants to run 1 amp to each sub. The subs are in separate boxes downfired in a SuperCrew Ford. Theyre in roughly .60 cubes a piece. How would we wire these to the 4 channel amps to get the most power out of them, te RMS of each sub is 500W. Can we run two channels to one VC and 2 channels to the other? Help with suggestions guys, these little subs are gonna be power hungry. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
