Time for some resin and mat. I used the chopped mat I had laying around..

This is an early shot of the support mount for the SMD. I had to add a metal Simpson support to it. When I first test fit the sub it broke from the weight.

In the end I added some layers of the stronger glass mat I had laying around. It aint gonna break no mo

So I ended up adding some mat to the perimeter of where these 2 meet. Its for some added strength

I only painted the exposed area to save paint. Here is a shot of how the buss bars are going to line up
