well i was not realy overpowering them surrounds wer still good and coil is good it was the spyder that tore .i guess when i send them in and get the new ones i will sell them and go sundown

no i was giving the 200rms each in 2.5cf tuned to 32hz and they sounded great hit like hell but the spider tore at the vc ,the coil is fine and like i said i just got them in febuary and from day one one was bad and now 2 more i told them to just upgrade me to thr rfx because at the time i got these they didnt have the rfx just the rex .and they said flat out no i said fine than i will go sundown or some other company i could get good 8s from and they said ok thank you .

i am having a issue with re audio i have 4 re audio rex8d4 subs that since febuary have had nothing but trouble with one was bad right out of the box and now 2 of them spiders tore at the vc and i am geting nowhere with them they will replace them but i realy want to have them upgrade me to the rfx8d4 and the customer service is just no help and i was hoping someone on here could tell me what i can do or who i can talk to to get some real results thanks

i agree for a good amp at a good price the hifonics zeus zxi80.4 is a good choiceo look up the mbquart line thay make a good class a/b amp

you want try the brz1700.1d they do rated and are cea2006 compliant and i love mine you have the big 3 and 1/0awg that should be fine at2ohm for ele

the brz is a better am and wil not burn up like those apsm amps the only audiopipe that i have heard good things about but not used is the ap series but still i have heard of more of them burning up than the brz amps

wich hifonics did you use i have used the hfi wich never got even warm but is over rated and my brz never get warm either mabe i just have good luck with them .and dont get me wrong i love rockford amps to death but the price is a little high but there awesome.and just like the rockfords brz do rated and more

a second rockford would be nice and do what you want.but if you were looking for 2k rms look up the hifonics brutus brz2400.1d does 2400rms @1ohm and is cea2006 compliant and can be purchaced for 300.00 all day i know the rockford is at least 200 more and only has 1200w but just giving you options .and i would beef up your ele just a little to handle 2k w

the brz1700 is the best choice it is cea2006 compliant and is the better line of maxxsonics amps .i am running that amp now and it realy sounds good and i have a mmats d200hc that i ran for 10yrs and i like the brz better but thats how i feel and the best of the amps you can get on a small budget ,you wont be disappointed with it at all.the autotek and crunch will disappoint you they dont do rated and are no where as clean as the brz is

sheena i am running a brz 1700 in my 90 civic with a ebay hi amp alt and 0awg wire and the big 3 and my voltage doesnt drop below 13.3 at idle full tilt. chech my build and see what i have my alt was like 100.00 with shipping that is a cheap upgrade and yealds alot. and the hifonics amps are not that power hungry. reboom on here has the brz1200 and a big three in 4awg and the voltage barely drops at all and before we did the big 3 his lights almost dimmed out .

i have the mmats mp5 eq/crossover/line driver it is awesome and the thd is .003 line driver is 9v rms it also has a sub sonic filter .it makes any system i have put it on clear and pound like hell

how did everything go .i think you should try for shits and giggles to run the subs off one amp and see if it still happens if so theres another issue if not awesome and get a pair of strapable amps or one big one

i have done 2 of the dodge ram boxes you can check them out on my boom inc page on facebook . the box is 49" wide 20" tall 5" depth on top 8" depth on bottom. the box is 2.5 cf i have one tuned to 35 hz with 2 mtx jackhammer 10s ,and another with 4 re audio 8s tuned to 30hz they both sound real good.
