Real96SS Posted January 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2012 Okay I tried it today and through the amps its saying that my deck distorts at 29 out of 35.Which before when the DD-1 was reading through the rca's it didn't distort at all. This really has me stumped now.Also I tried to set the amp gains again to match and now as soon as I go to turn the gain up on the amp the dd-1 shows distortion and if I turn it a little more it stops reading a 40hz signal.I don't know what to do at this point.I have tried everything I can think of and back tracked to when the dd-1 worked right and nothing works.I need inputs from someone else on this subject.Perhaps Steve or Tony because it may be me doing something wrong or my dd-1 is acting up. Real96SS Posted January 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2012 So I decided to pull my headunit out and swap it for my old deck and now everything works as advertised.So I guess this expensive ass headunit has gone bad. The sub woofer rca's are the only thing thats not working with it so now I got to figure out how to get it fixed.
