But i am going to do that will im fixing it. a couple of the wires coming threw the firewall got hit while i was trying to drill threw. So i have to try and get the rubber piece off that has all the wires and reconnect them. Quote

OUCH I hate drilling through the firewall for those xact reasons...i installed a system in my sis's 06 malibu and pinched a wire that just happened to do w the security system ( which i couldnt find) and the car wouldnt start bc it thought it was bein stolen...
