Nikitaaa
Looking to get as much sound out my truck (2002 mercury mountaineer) as possible without building a wall. working with a max box size of 16"H 45"D 40"W (Ported) was thinking 4 15's if airspace permits or 6 12's Was Considering the RE Sxx12 or 15 (Both 1000w rms) but what amp? RE Audio XT4000DE? Hifonics HFI1500D? Recommendations? no comparison threads. How is this a comparison thread? All the dude wants to know is, what can he get out of the givin airspace, and what amp should he get. I think he was using the hifonics and re as an example. DatDude619
Just Looking to get the most out of space given. It was an example due to online searching. post has been edited any recommendations? subs? amps? 4 15's would be ideal but airspace is an issue there. 15's also require more airspace and with my box size only 2 would fit with the right airspace. (box is roughly 10-13cu) Edited January 18, 2012 by DatDude619

(box is roughly 10-13cu) with 10-13 cubes you could do 3 15s no probs. but try to lean closer to 12 so each get 4 at least depending on sub that should be good Quote Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemead...5015-bump4life/ MB C220 153 Trunk Car Build Log: http://www.stevemead...d/#entry1840136 MB C280 Ipad Dash SQ Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194484-bump4lifes-new-benz-tony-c-relay-kit-pictures-ce-electric-audison-front-stage-installed/ My SPL Log: http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 BMW M340 xDrive Stock, for now. skyhighcaraudio
i used to have 4 15s dc XLs and my box ended up at 12.9 after displacements and i think 17.6ish before displacements so that can give you can idea that 4 15s probably wont fit. depending on the subs you pic 4 12s will probably be plenty loud or if you spent the money you planned on spending on 4 15s on 2 15s it would be real loud too. its all about quality of the equipment not quantity Quote Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/
